Near the end of my book, the main character Ty Johnson is trying to make a valuable decision that can help to save his life and the life of his loved ones. With his partner Sonny dead over a self planned drug deal, and his sweetheart Allyse out of his reach, Ty is becoming concerned and is running out of options. Ty thinks hard before confronting his thug dad, about him quitting the family business and getting his life together. Finally in the last few pages of the novel Ty Johnson makes the right decision and gets his reward, he gets back together with Allyse, he goes back to school and finally organizes his life the right way.

I expected something different in the end of this novel, I thought that there will be another drive by, or a life and death situation, but I was surprised like everybody else was when they read this book. It must of been hard for Ty to walk away from something that he loved, and was good at. In the end he made the right decision and got himself rewarded. The ending of the novel was realistic because Ty gave up something really important to him, and got rewarded with something better.
